The ground floor has a large living area (43 square metres) with a dining table and a comfortable seating area. There is an enormous fireplace, which probably came from nearby Loubressac. An inserted wood burner ensures that the house is warm during the cooler months. (It’s up to you to source the firewood). The room has excellent acoustics, allowing you to get the most from its sound system. There is also a well-stocked bookcase and a selection of board games. You’ll also find numerous guide books and a folder containing information on local attractions, businesses, and restaurants.
Both the living area and the kitchen open out onto a spacious terrace with views onto the Dordogne. Here you can find your favourite spot – sunny or shady – at any time of day. There’s a large wooden table with enough space for all your guests.
The kitchen (7 square metres) is quite small, but very well equipped. It has a gas hob, a fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
There’s a toilet on the ground floor.
A wooden staircase leads to the upper level. Here, there are 3 bedrooms accommodating up to 8 people. Each room is individually furnished:
- “Ghana” has a double bed (140x200cm) and a wash-hand basin.
- “Giraffe” has a double bed (140x200cm).
- “Lavender”, with its sloping ceiling, has two beds (100x190cm and 100x200cm) and a wash-hand basin.
The bathroom, with a shower and toilet, are also on the upper level.
Two people can also sleep on the sofa in the living room.
